Hillmar Industries Hydraulic Power Units normally employ a gear pump direct driven by an electric motor. The electric motor and pump, along with the other system components, may be housed in a vented NEMA 4 enclosure having foot or wall mounting brackets for easy installation in a convenient location. In addition, our Hydraulic Power Units are specifically suited to integral mounting in rail clamp enclosures. .

Standard features of these units include an internal system leakage compensating accumulator, on-off pressure switch, solenoid dump valve, pressure gauge, relief valve, return line filter and system bleed-down valve. The stainless steel reservoir includes a strainer, level switch, sight glass, breather-filler cap, and drain plug. The level switch and pressure switch protects the system components by providing interlock signals to the customer's pump motor starter relay located externally from the power unit itself.
